Asphalt 8: Airborne coming soon!

Gameloft is on a tear today. First they announced Brothers in Arms 3, and now they’ve released a trailer for the eighth (you read that right, the eighth) game in their Asphalt racing series. It looks pretty fast and pretty furious. Watch the video below.

Asphalt 8 is built on a new physics engine and will feature eight new maps, plus a revamped one from Asphalt 7. It has both real-time and asynchronous multiplayer, and two new multiplayer modes. One has you drift through gates for points and another is called Infected. In Infected, one player is “it” and has to hit another player within 20 seconds to make them “it” or else they’re eliminated.

Asphalt 8 will cost $0.99, and is coming soon.
